Business Legal and Civil Litigation Assessment - TrustKey verifies that the principle owner has no recent bankruptcy filings, or civil litigation related to fraud, misrepresentation, or financial misconduct.
State Business Filing Review - TrustKey reviews state filings for corporate entities and limited liability companies to ensure that the business is financially responsible and in good standing with the state where the business is located.

TrustKey examines customer review submissions to ensure that they are accurate, timely, and appropriate. All submissions must be approved in accordance with the Verified Customer Feedback Guidelines. TrustKey may contact consumers to clarify or verify the accuracy of any submitted review. Verified reviews are posted in chronological order starting with the most recent review followed by reviews in descending date order. TrustKey periodically removes older reviews to maintain an accurate and timely perspective of the TrustKey Businesses' performance.

Users may ask TrustKey to remove their reviews. TrustKey Businesses may post responses to consumer reviews but cannot remove or alter reviews. Please refer to the Verified Customer Feedback Guidelines for more information regarding consumer feedback and reviews.

TrustKey makes every effort to collect and verify business information prior to conducting the background investigation. TrustKey will advise the business of the steps needed to resolve any issues uncovered during the background investigation. In some cases, the business may need to clarify, correct, or explain the information. If the business is unable or unwilling to explain or resolve the negative information, TrustKey will terminate the accreditation process. The background investigation fee is nonrefundable.

TrustKey Businesses may use our name and logo on their website, social media platforms, or on advertising, sales, and marketing material provided the logo is presented in its original aspect ratio. TrustKey reserves the right to request removal of our logo if the use is deemed unauthorized, inappropriate, or harmful in accordance with our Marketing Agreement.

Adult Content - TrustKey does not accredit businesses that provide adult content (including pornography, soft pornography, lingerie, adult images, adult humor, dating, escort services, or other related materials).

Gambling - TrustKey does not accredit businesses involved in gambling (including multilevel marketing, high-yield or high-risk investments, lotteries, sweepstakes, or other non-conventional financial products).

Drugs - TrustKey does not accredit businesses involved in selling drugs (including prescription, recreational, male/female enhancements, hallucinogenic, or any other drugs or supplements).

Final Authority - TrustKey reserves the right to protect the integrity of the TrustKey Marketplace make the final determination as to whether or not a business is accredited. Organizations involved and hate speech, anti-government speech, or anti-family speech, or anti-religious freedom, will be denied accreditation. Further, TrustKey maintains the right to control the content displayed on our platform (including customer reviews, testimonials, and feedback shared with other users).
